Alrighty, lets get right down to the week!
Monday: After our usual p-day activities we drove to Houlton, ME to stay with Sister Leak and Sister Bowden for the night!
Tuesday: Together with the Houlton Sisters we drove to Fredricton, NB, for our Zone Conference! It was a lot of fun to see everyone! At the top of that list was Sister Lybbert! She was my MTC Companion and I hadn't seen her since we left for our very first areas. That was so much fun!
Zone conference was so full of the spirit. I loved it!
Wednesday: We had a lesson with our investigator. He's not really progressing any more which is sad.
Thursday: We drove to Perth over in New Brunswick for a Family History workshop with Sister Budrow! We were able to help her and one of her friends on familysearch.org. It was so much fun. And we definitely felt the spirit a lot!
Friday: We had an awesome lesson. She's understanding everything really well and has such a desire to learn the gospel!
Saturday: Our last lesson with one of our investigators, we won't be teaching him anymore. But we had some great members come to the lesson and we were really thankful for their support and willingness to serve! We also had a great time contacting, knocking out in the cold isn't too bad! But only if you do it for 30 minutes at a time, any more and your ears will fall off haha.
Sunday: Church is heaven on earth. We loved it! We had another fantastic lesson, then a great supper at the Mautz home, they are such a cute little family!
There are a lot of good things going on up here! We love the work. And we are learning so much. You have to find joy in everything, big and little.
This week marks some big things, on the 12th I will have been on my mission for 12 months! Wow! A whole year. It really has flown by. And Also, Happy Valentines Day! I hope you can spread some of Christ's love to all those you come in contact with!
Love you
Sister Smith
