Hey everyone!
I really hope you are doing great, having fun, enjoying summer!!
Here's my week:
Monday: We had an adventure! Our friend Darlene who had us over for supper a couple of times took us all around the area and to her cottage in Linden for our P-day. It was so beautiful! And I got to play in the sand at her beach! Then we had a lesson with our investigator which is always fun.
Tuesday: We had Zone Training! I learned so much, this transfer we are focusing on working with the members of the area we are in. which will be great! remember, members are so important! Missionary work is impossible without support from those who are at the church in your area. When we all work together, for those who are interested in the church, we can support them and help them to feel Heavenly Fathers love!
Wednesday: We had visits with our district leader, Elder Collette. It was fun and instructive, we did everything to knocking, service, and teaching a lesson.
Thursday: We attended a graveside funeral in Springhill and Sister Spencer and I sang at it. Then we took our friend who drove us out to her cottage on a church tour.
Friday: Lots of meetings! But we got to do some gardening service, which I love. My watch tan line is getting really dark by the way! Our investigator cancelled our lesson that night, but we had an awesome game night! Including us, 11 people came for card games! Including Darlene, and 2 of our investigators! It was definitely a success!
Saturday: We drove to Moncton again, this time for a Family History workshop! Oh it was so great. It explained how to find people using Family search!! I am so excited to do family history work when I get home! We had a fun lesson with our investigators.
Sunday: Church was pretty great, and even though our lesson with one of our investigators fell through we were able to meet with our other investigators again, this time we brought Sarah with us. A wonderful girl who is preparing to serve a mission! It was a great experience for us and her!
I have felt my faith grow so strong this week, through all of the ups and downs I know the church is true. And that gets me through everything!
Love, Sister Smith
