I am loving being a missionary so much! I can't imagine how great all of you are doing. I hope all is going well and that you've had some time to reflect this week on those things that matter most!
So here's my week!
Monday: Our investigator is so cute! She has been doing great, we were able to teach her about Faith! It is such a simple principle, but so important! We got lost going to Fort Fairfield (our GPS took us to Easton, the next town over) and we ended up driving in the dark on foggy roads out in Amish Country! It was pretty fun but the member we brought with us thought we were trying to kidnap her! (she's 25 and super fun. We had a great time getting lost) Unfortunately we had to cancel our lesson. But we were able to go back the next day.
Tuesday: We had a wonderful time visiting some cute members and her recently baptized 10 year old! She has 3 beautiful girls and their house is so cute! A pintrest dream home. I loved it. We were also able to go out to Supper with a less active member. She took us to Bonanza a super yummy steak restaurant.
Wednesday: District Meeting in Houlton! That was my first time to Houlton, Maine, and interestingly enough the church there is an converted Bible Church! It was so crazy. But it looked great. We learned so much about repenting and companionship unity. Whether it is our companion, or spouse, or co-worker, we can always improve our relationships and work together effectively!
Thursday: Thanksgiving! Happy Turkey Day! Among other things, we had 3 Turkey Dinners! Woof. They were provided by lovely members and we had a great time. It was so nice to spend time with the families here knowing that we weren't with our families back home. Everyone was surprised when we told them we couldn't call home on thanksgiving, but it didn't bother me because my family was camping anyways! I couldn't have called them if I wanted to! haha. All of that aside, it was a great day. And I have SO much to be thankful for.
Friday: More lessons fell through. But we had another lovely meal at the members and learned all about their conversion story. Prayers are so real!
Sunday: I just love church here! It's so great. We had some very powerful sacrament meeting talks. I thought I lost my scriptures, but they were actually just in the car! And we had some fun opportunities in visiting some of the members. One of them even gave us a mini Christmas tree, it was so fun. We now have it plugged in by our office.
Overall we had a great week! I love Sister Fenn! We are having so much fun! I have seen so many miracles and tender mercies from Heavenly Father. Next week I will specifically write down and then include those in my e-mail.
Again, hope you are all having a fantastic life. If you write me some snail mail I will reply! Promise.
