here's a bit about my week!
Monday: After p-day we went to the community choir! love them!
Tuesday: we had lot of plans fall through. But we were happy to talk with the Shorts, they're really sweet! We also taught the evening class the Doctrine of the Gospel with the branch. It went really well! we were talking about obedience. there were a lot of wonderful examples
Wednesday: We had our District Meeting and President Leavitt was up for his last round of interviews with us. He came to our district meeting and helped us with the training we gave on planning. In the evening we were able to have a lesson with Kathleen Smith! We read the book of mormon and talked with her about the importance of the scriptures!
Thursday: lots of meetings... which are very inspiring! But the best part was going up to Freshwater to help Sister Parsons rake her yard, it was so windy that as soon as we lifted the leaves up the wind swept them away over the hill, it was great! We also saw some crazy cool iceburgs and a washed up sting ray! It was really cool.
Friday: We had a lot of fun heart attacking our investigators! It was just nice to show them we loved them!
Saturday: The Shorts had us over for breakfast. it was so sweet. We even got to try toutons! they're a local dish, very yummy. (you probably know what they are, I had just never heard of them before!)
Sunday: Church was great, except when I had to play the piano and didn't do so great! That's okay, still learning :) We visited the Moores, a sweet couple. Brother Moore taught me how to do indexing! It was really fun! I'm excited to try it again.
Love, Sister Smith
