Hey Everyone :)
So this week is Transfer week. Drumroll please!! I'm staying in Montague! Woot Woot! So that's exciting. Well let me tell you a little about my life.
Ah, the craziness of missionary life. Has it really already been a week since I e-mailed?
Monday: Ice rain and wind! It took us 40 min at 8pm in the dark to drive home from our Branch Presidents house. But we made it back safely. I did get to take a nap though during my p-day time. And that was amazing.
Tuesday: We got stuck inside most of the day because of the gigantinormous storm. That was cool. It wasn't too bad actually, just a lot of snow. Because we need more snow right now. (Sarcasm, I was using sarcasm) I actually really like the snow. I can't decide if I'm ready for spring or not though. This was the most snow I have seen fall during my stay in Montague.
Wednesday: Wednesday was the bom.com. (I know, I know, I'm still a teenager, I'm allowed to be silly sometimes) We taught two amazing lessons and had a great lesson with a member family too. We're helping our members find small commitments they want to do to be more active in missionary work. Because everyone can help! Our district leader came to Montague to see what it's like here. That was a lot of fun, but our town wasn't big enough for the four of us. Haha. I found out we have just under 2000 people in Montague.
Thursday: Day of Craziness. We had a district meeting in Charlottetown so we drove the hour up there and met with the six other missionaries on P.E.I. Then we stayed in town to help the District Leader out a little bit. I guess President Leavitt wanted to get our read on the city to see if it would be good for sisters to go back there. I would LOVE to be in Charlottetown! It was so big, there are so many people! Contacting would be no problem. Sigh, if only if only. So we went around and contacted and sat in on a few lessons. It was a lot of fun to see the Elders at work. They are so different from us. By the time we got home that night we had to head over to our investigators for a lesson. She's doing really well, very solid, and she has the cutest kids. She hasn't set a date soon but hopefully she will!
Friday: Weekly planning and contacting like crazy
Saturday: CONFERENCE! Oh, that was so great. We had one investigator come to the conference and then our other solid investigator watched all of it at home! I love them :) I hope their prayers were answered.
Sunday: More CONFERENCE!
Okay so there's a lot of good things in conference and all but I'll probably not write it all down today. That's okay, maybe some future time.
Have a wonderful week, remember who you are and that we can all make life a bit happier if we smile :)
Love,
Sister Smith
