Want to send me a package? Here's all you could ever want to know! and more...
Important Mailing Information
We have learned by sad experience that getting gifts to Canada from the United States can get very expensive. For example: Two packages, showing values of $100.00 U.S. and $40.00 U.S. required $26.48 Canadian for each package to pay for "Brokerage Fees". These fees are not refundable
Brokerage fees are NOT assessed if Parcels are CLEARLY marked UNSOLICITED GIFT and are valued at under $60.00 Canadian (approximately $55.00 USD) (Rates change with the dollar exchange rate between these countries) per gift within parcel. This means they are sent from person to person, not from a business and are of a personal, not commercial content.
However, if a fee is assessed, the mission cannot possibly cover these private expenses and we will need to be promptly reimbursed by the missionary or the mailer of the package.
