This week was really crazy.
Monday: We got to wear jeans! We went to a members house and stacked some wood for them. It was great to get out and do some physical work for a change. Walking everyday just isn't the same. We also had to wash our car, but for some reason we didn't change out of our church clothes for that! Oh well, it wasn't too bad.
Tuesday: We had a district meeting in Charlottetown which is an hour away. I feel like we received revelation on how to help Montague from that. We also had a Relief Society activity where a member helped us learn how to put on make up haha.
Wed: We had an interview with the Mission President, and half the time we talked about dad. really. It was pretty funny. Everyone can tell dad's an interesting person. So random too though haha, so my interview went well and I'm glad to have that out of the way. I was stressing to memorize my scripture for that!
Thurs: Weekly planning on thurs this time. and BMC (Branch Missionary Correlation). Between those two things we hardly did anything! Whew it was crazy. We also had two meetings, one conference call and one skype call with the sisters who left the MTC with me. That was fun.
Friday: Exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders from Moncton. Because they came from 2 hours away we just stayed in Montague. I learned a lot. We got two new investigators! We also taught our progressing sister investigator . And that's always so much fun. :) I also got my first door slammed in my face! This lady thought we were Jehovah's Witness and slammed away. That was crazy.
Sat: We got to teach another friend and are excited to start into the discussions with her. She needs a miracle!
Sunday: Love Church, always do. Our progressing investigator brought her kids and I got to lead singing time in primary with all 4 of the primary kids haha. We also had linger longer and we visited a sister who is in the hospital with heart problems. :( We taught another friend on Sunday and she accepted the invitation to be baptized April 19th! I'm so excited :D
Funny experience for the week: we were checking on a potential, he invited us in. I was like, "sure!" and Sister Olsen my Sister Training Leader said, "Wait, is there another girl in the house?" And he said, "No, is that a rule? Oh! makes sense, that's so creepy!" Haha just the way he said it. It was great.
We are trying to help the members! They need to be strong in order to retain new converts. So that's our biggest thing right now. that and getting new investigators. The Lord really blessed us though to get our 2 wonderful new investigators!
I hope everyone is doing well! Love you all.
