Hello everyone!
You know your mission is big when you have to take a plane to your next area! And that is just what I did :D
Just a bit about my week!
Monday: The adventure of Houlton Farms Dairy made my day! It's a local treat, and the Banana Split Shake was out of this world! Yum. Everything tastes sweeter on a mission.
Tuesday: The highlight had to be going out to supper with the Seaboyers, a sweet couple who I have grown really close to over the course of my time in Houlton. I am certainly missing them already!!! We also had some great skype meetings in the morning, there's a lot of things going on in the mission, and a lot of good things!
Wednesday: We were running every which way. From meeting with the Elders, to a luncheon in Sherman (I got to see Mount Katahdin again!) to teaching our investigator and last minute packing! whew, it's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate over the months.
Thursday: bleh, we woke up at 4 am and drove to moncton by 9. from there I said goodbye to Sister Bowden and hopped onto the transfer van. this took me to Dartmouth. We were able to attend the Temple!! and spend the evening with Sister Fincher! yay! (we were companions for a transfer in Amherst)
Friday: Woke up at 4 am again... this time we got picked up and driven to the Airport! After a quick flight (I think security took longer... jokes, but the flight was only a little over an hour) I arrived in Newfoundland! It was awesome :D Sister Hoy is my new companion. I LOVE HER! She's from Alberta, super fun. And the area, is gorgeous. SO fantastic. We had a great first day together.
Saturday: Lots of contacting, service and less actives, keeping busy and having fun!
Sunday: I got to meet the Branch! We had a broadcast for the North America North East Area. It was really good. Elder Nelson and Elder Robert D. Hales spoke. And I learned so much! We spent the rest of the day tracting and we had a lot of really good experiences.
So far it has just been so fun! I love this area and I'm really excited for the upcoming transfer <3
I hope you have a fantastic week!
