Hello!
Well I had a great week. So much happened!!
Monday: After e-mailing we were packed FULL of appointments (one of which was to Brother Smith's dentistry, they cleaned my teeth for free! Sigh, that was so great. I got all settled and relaxed, they even gave me sunglasses! I told them it felt so good, like a spa. The lady doing my teeth said I've been working too hard because all of the new mothers and missionaries that come in do the same things. She said it's pretty sad when you feel like the dentist chair is a luxury ahahahahaha) We ended the day with YSA at Sister Stepp's house.
Tuesday: We had been packing frantically! trying to get everything ready for both Sister Fenn and I to leave. So we visited , a recently baptized member who has been out of church for the winter. She has the sweetest little hound! We cheered them up and then went out on a search to find some boxes, to mail home extra things! Elder Wanlass called and told me that we had a new leadership skype call at the church, a total surprise to me! We high-tailed it over to Caribou and I just made the meeting! Whew. We had another one just for Sister Training Leaders later that day but we had enough time to run back to Presque Isle and pack some more before it started. After we mailed our boxes we had my second meeting, washed the car, and prepared for the Relief Society Dinner!
All of the Sisters came together (well, about 30 which wasn't as many as they hoped but just about as many as they planned for) I was able to say goodbye to almost everyone. We had such a fun time. And I really love those Sisters!!!
Wednesday: Transfer Day! We finished everything we could, then went out to Limestone for Lunch with the Willies, this really sweet older couple that has been wanting to feed us the whole time we've been here. haha I don't know why, the scheduling just didn't work the one time they did try before, but if finally came together! they are so sweet :) Then we taught a lesson to our investigator (we taught her tuesday as well) said goodbye to her and left Presque Isle. :( probably the saddest moment of my mission! Sister Fenn dropped me off in Houlton, we said goodbye, and I was there with my new companion Sister Bowden!
Thursday: We headed up to Canada, just like usual, I do love the woodstock members. We had some lessons, service, and the book of mormon study. Not to mention awesome chinese food at the seaboyers! It was also my 13 month mark! WHAT!? That was crazy.
Friday: Weekly Planning! I've been working on getting settled in, unpacking quickly and dejunking the apartment. There's so much random stuff in there! Whew, so we're getting it all cleaned up and Spiffy.
Saturday: I got permission to do visits with the Presque Isle Sisters (I still feel so sad that it's not me any more! I loved that area <3) and we went to Sage's Baptism! It was so incredible :D
Sunday: My first Sunday in the Houlton Branch! We had a huge storm come in so we only had the 1st hour. Sister Bowden and I visited a less active in the Hospital and other than that stayed inside, calling people and remaining busy.
We have had a great couple of days together, and I'm so excited to be in America again for this transfer!
