Hey Everyone!
Well, this has been a good week. Lots of fun for sure. I left my planner at home so I'll be summarizing.
This week we had some of the coldest and warmest weather! I hope that means we're turning into spring. But I hear we have a few more months until we will see that... We had a good week, four lessons! and two new investigators! The work is taking off, (we usually have 4 or so lessons a week, but these were good, solid ones!) We've been doing a lot of work through facebook, knocking, and area book work. Knocking is so much fun! Even when you are freezing. It is always an adventure because you never know who is behind a door. Luckily most people are really nice, and you get to make a lot of new friends.
I passed my 11 month mark last week. which was crazy.next month I will have been out for a year. Has it really been that long? I have learned so much. And I Love serving the Lord! We all have so many opportunities to help and serve.
I've learned a lot about prayer this week. We really do need to pray always and remember Christ! Without Him, we would be nothing. So I challenge you to think about Christ Every Day! Not just when you are reading your scriptures, or looking through an Ensign. Really set a timer and take 5 minutes in the middle of your day and ask yourself, "Who is Jesus Christ to me?" "how have I been blessed by the Atonement" "What am I doing to honor His name?" I know it will bring the Spirit into your life like nothing else!
Love you!
